Titoni Artist watch launched in Taipei

After the launch of Titoni’s first Artist Watch in Chonqging in April, the Swiss watch company also presented this marvelous timepiece in Taiwan for the first time.

Titoni’s first Artist Watch is an officially certified chronometer (COSC) and has been produced in a limited series of only 250 pieces worldwide. 30 pieces will be sold in selected retail points in Taiwan.

A stylish ceremony was hold in the well-known Metaphysical Art Gallery (形而上画廊) in downtown Taipei. The ceremony marked the start for the two-week-long exhibition “Zhang Qikai’s Wonderland”. The owner of the Metaphysical Art Gallery, Ms. Celia Huang, cooperated with Titoni Ltd. in bringing the famous painter and art critic, Mr. Zhang Qikai, for this unique event to the beautiful island of Taiwan.    

In his speech, Mr. Zhang expressed his deepest thanks to all those who made his trip to Taiwan possible. He especially pointed out the close cooperation between the Metaphysical Art Gallery and Titoni Ltd. and the symbiosis of Swiss watch-making with art and culture. Among the VIP’s was also Mr. Jost Feer, the Director of the Trade Office of Swiss Industries in Taipei, who was happy to see a Swiss family-run company like Titoni Ltd. joining hands with a famous Taiwanese gallery.

The master of ceremony during this colorful event was Janet Hsieh, a rising star in Taiwan hosting the popular travel show “Fun Taiwan” in Discovery Travel & Living channel. Towards the end of the event, Professor Shin-Cheng Yeh from National Taiwan Normal University gave a thoughtful and lively presentation on the topic of “Environment Protection and Panda”.  – His dedicated speech as well as the unveiling of the limited watch board and the pleasure of other delicacies were highly appreciated by the audience and many Taiwanese media representatives.
